A vibrant and personalised curriculum
At Linton, we work hard to ensure that the knowledge and skills students learn at the college will be valuable throughout their lives. As a specialist Business and Enterprise College with a second specialism in Applied Learning, we provide a rich and varied curriculum that meets the needs of all learners, and their specific abilities, needs and talents. Our special emphasis on enterprise skills actively seeks to promote leadership, initiative, independence, planning, teamwork and effective communication. These are reflected in the variety and nature of the courses we offer in both key stages.
During their time at Linton all of our students take part in a range of activities within and outside the curriculum to develop all of these skills. Linton Village College students have the kind of attributes that enable them to work well in teams and take on leadership responsibilities with confidence. They are also able to take advantage of our excellent sports facilities and a very wide range of sporting activities, whatever their ability. The arts thrive in the college and we are holders of the Artsmark Silver Award. All students have access to a team of instrumental music teachers, an impressive range of music ensembles, arts clubs, and high quality dance and drama productions. Art work produced by Linton students is widely recognised as exceptional in standard.
