Sponsored Walk ’24
We are just one week away from our annual whole school Sponsored Walk. Many thanks to parents and carers that have donated on Just Giving so far.
All funds raised go directly towards enriching student lives at LVC. In the last year, we have funded amongst other things the Y7 and Y8 school discos, the Y11 Leavers Ball, new furniture in the common rooms is on its way and we have just signed off on brand new sound and lighting equipment for performances and for students to utilise for GCSE exams.
A big thank you to those of you who have volunteered to help steward the event on the day. We would love a few more, so if you can spare a few hours next Friday 18th October please do get in touch with the Friends of LVC – friends@lintonvc.org.

On The Day
Your child will need to bring their books for period 1 and period 5 as well as a change of shoes and a bag to put muddy boots in! They will also need appropriate clothing – a waterproof coat, warm layers and comfortable shoes/boots plus any medication (e.g. inhaler) and a water bottle.
Please see below links to your child’s fundraising page on the JustGiving website. Don’t forget to encourage your child to come in fancy dress- tutors will be sharing themes chosen by tutees.
There will be prizes for the most creative efforts and the tutor group who has raised the most funds.
