When and where?

Year 11 students are invited to collect their GCSE results from the College between 9:00am and 10:00am. Make your way to the West Common Room via the front of the school.

What happens when I get there?

You will find a table for each year 11 form group. Find the table for your form. You will need to sign a document to confirm that you have collected your results. You will be given an A4 envelope to open at your leisure. You can open it at the College or you can wait until you get home.

What will I find in my envelope?

You will find a letter from Mr Fehr, a slip of paper with information about the Year 11 Celebration Event in November, and a page with a list of your GCSE grades.

What if I can’t collect my results on the day?

Results envelopes can be collected from reception from Wednesday 3rd September. We do not offer a postal service. If you are away and would like us to e-mail your results, you must let us know. Contact exams@lintonvc.org by Friday 18th July so that we can plan to send your results to you. You can expect your results to be e-mailed by 11:00am on Results Day.

What do I do next?

Your post-16 provider may expect you to submit your results through their own portal. Post-16 providers will have sent you instructions.

What if I’m not happy with my results?

Please refer to this guidance from JCQ and this page on our website. Similar information will be shared with you on Results Day in your envelope. It may be worth checking the grade boundaries. We aim to provide you with a summary of all relevant grade boundaries on results day on this page of the LVC website.

Who do I contact with my questions?

You may contact us at exams@lintonvc.org with any questions. This inbox will be active during the school term until Wednesday 23rd July, and then again on Wednesday and Thursday, 20th and 21st August. After this, any e-mails will be responded to once the College reopens on Monday 1st September.
